ABOUT

ME!

      Imani Woodley is an actress born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She started her career initially as a dancer and transitioned into a theatrical concentration when she was 12 years old. 

     Her recent credits include the role of " Ariella" in the amazing comedy short film "Pay deferred". Playing the "DP" in the heartwarming short film "Pretty Boys".Rocky Stiles in the stage reading of"When a tree Falls" by Amontaine Aurore directed by Rebecca Tourino Collinsworth (Parley Productions). Seada in a staged reading of Necessary Targets directed by Lamar Legend (Seattle Repertory Theatre),  and Cora Groves in The Rimers Of Eldritch directed by Kate Myre.

     In December 2017 Imani received her B.F.A in theatre from Cornish College of the Arts. In May 2018 Imani made her professional debut in Village Theatre’s “Hairspray”. And then went on to do the U.S premiere of James Fritz's "Parliament Square" with Pony World Theater. In February 2019 Imani packed her bags and headed out to Los Angeles, California to continue on with her career but focusing on honing her skills for television and film.

      Imani believes in the transformative power of theatre--as a social, political, emotional, and humanistic force. Above all, she is committed to a life in theatre as a means of participating in the artistic dialog that is so vital to the health of any society, and especially ours.
